The Park City Gallery Stroll, presented by the Kimball Art Center and the Park City Gallery Association, will take place Friday, April 28 from 6-9 p.m. at 23 Park City-area galleries. At the art center, gallery strollers will find hors d’oeuvres and live music from the Slickrock Gypsies, courtesy of the Park City Jazz Foundation.

Mountain Town wants bands for a battle
This May, Mountain Town Stages will be hosting a battle of the bands. The organization is looking for high school bands from anywhere in Summit County to compete in the event, which will pit five finalists against each other in a competition that will take place in The Forum at The Canyons Resort on May 20 from 3-6 p.m.
The finalists will be chosen by Mountain Town Stages representatives on the basis of a recording or a performance. The winner, chosen from among the five finalists, will be paid $200 and will get to perform on one of the Main Street stages before the running of Park City’s Fourth of July Parade.

Ambassadors now accepting July 4 parade applications
The Park City Ambassadors are now looking for applicants interested in marching in Park City’s Fourth of July Parade and Celebration. Applications for the parade are available at the Park City Chamber/Bureau, which is located at 1910 Prospector Ave.
The Park City Fourth of July Parade and Celebration is organized each year by the Park City Ambassadors, the volunteer division of the Chamber/Bureau.
