Saturday, April 29, Mountain Town Stages will host a party. That night, the organization will host its annual fundraising event, Music Makers A Local Bash at the Celebrity Theatre at 7:30 p.m. at The Inn at Prospector, located at 2200 Sidewinder Drive.
Mountain Town Stages is asking people to donate personal services anything from designated driving and babysitting to teeth whitening and legal advice to be auctioned off at the Music Makers event. All proceeds will benefit Mountain Town Stages.
The event will include music from Tony Oros, along with drinks and refreshments. Admission is free for invitation holders. Those who donate a service will also receive four free tickets. To contribute a service, or for more information, visit www.mountaintownstages.com or call 901-SONG.
Park City Film Series needs you!
The Park City Film Series is expanding its board of directors and needs people interested in helping the organization.
Board members are responsible for selecting films, raising funds and volunteering at film series events, including weekend screenings, the Sundance Film Festival and Global Lens and Reel Classics film programs.
The board meets once a month, July through June; those interested in joining the board should send a resume and cover letter to [email protected] or Park City Film Series, P.O. Box 2092, Park City, UT 84060. Applications should arrive no later than May 5.

Furburbia dog obedience classes coming up
Furburbia is now registering participants for its Basic Dog Obedience and Puppy Preschool classes, which will start April 27.
Those interested can sign up at Furburbia, which is located at the Tanger Outlet mall. Classes last for 6 weeks and cost $50; proceeds go to Summit County Friends of Animals. For more information, visit www.friendsofanimals.net.
