The Park City Community Foundation announced Wednesday that it delivered $11.8 million in community impact to Park City and Summit County in its 2026 fiscal year, pushing its cumulative community impact since 2007 to $96.3 million.

The Community Foundation released the figures ahead of its annual Grants Celebration on Wednesday at Silver Lake Lodge.

“Local nonprofits are the lifeblood of this community,” said CEO Joel Zarrow. “Through grants and our wide-ranging support of the nonprofit sector, we’re making more healthcare, arts and culture, education, sports and recreation, and belonging possible through collective giving.”

The foundation also honored Sally Cousins Elliott with the Trisha J. Worthington Community Service Award, which recognizes community members who have dedicated an extraordinary time and talent to charitable work.

“Sally has devoted much of her adult life to making Park City and Summit County a better place,” said Don Roll, who nominated her for the award.

Additionally, the Community Foundation announced its latest round of Community Fund grants, which totaled $475,000 across 55 local nonprofits, with $100,000 contributed by Deer Valley Resort. Built from hundreds of individual gifts of every size, the Community Fund is designed to move unrestricted dollars to the organizations delivering essential services across the county.

During its last fiscal year, running July 2025 to June 2026, the Community Foundation gave out a total of $4.7 million through 794 grants to area nonprofits, including grants from the Community Foundation’s initiatives, funds and donor-advised funds. The organization also facilitated $5.5 million in donations through the annual Live PC Give PC giving day and invested $1.6 million in program delivery through its Youth United, Early Childhood Alliance, Zero Food Waste and Women’s Giving Fund programs.
