Hive Family Collective announced its inaugural Paddles for a Purpose pickleball fundraiser will take place 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sunday at Red Ledges in Heber City.

Designed to bring active adults, local parents and community supporters together for an energetic day of wellness, movement and connection, the event also serves as a key fundraiser for the nonprofit.

All proceeds from ticket sales, corporate sponsorships and a local business opportunity drawing will fund Hive Family Collective’s year-round community programming, educational resources and peer support networks.

“Paddles for a Purpose was created to offer a fun, wellness-focused way for our community to connect while directly powering our family support initiatives,” said Kayla Kantor, executive director of Hive Family Collective. “Whether you’ve been playing pickleball for years or are picking up a paddle for the very first time, this event offers an inclusive, high-energy experience for everyone.”

PC Yoga Collective is the presenting sponsor alongside community sponsors including Grand Valley Bank, Mountainside Resort Foundation, Gratitude Tiger and Hill’s Kitchen.

In addition to tournament play and clinic coaching, attendees can bid on an array of items donated by business partners including Gozney, Kodiak Cakes, Salomon, Park City Gardens, Crescent Peak Sleep, Viva Physical Therapy, Happy Body Physical Therapy, Heart Tones, Element Massage, Stoke Coach, Tara Sylvester Photography, Fourth Space Studios, Lululemon, Aloha Ski Rentals, Baby Nee Nee, Wasatch Back Beauty Lab, Hidden Peak Provisions and Cabin Candles.

Space is strictly limited to 65 total participants to ensure maximum court time.
