Habitat for Humanity of Summit and Wasatch Counties will participate in the 2026 Park City Area Homebuilders Association Showcase of Homes that takes place Aug. 28-30 and Sept. 4-7.
“We are deeply grateful to be part of this year’s Showcase of Homes,” said Shellie Barrus, executive director. “This event highlights the best residential construction in our region, and we are excited to share how affordable homeownership changes lives. When families have a stable, affordable place to call home, they are better positioned to contribute to a thriving workforce, strong schools, and vibrant neighborhoods.”
Visitors to the Habitat home will learn about the organization’s mission and its beliefs about the long-term community benefits of affordable homeownership, such as improved family stability, stronger local economies and opportunities for residents to continue living and working in the communities they serve.
“Affordable homeownership is essential to maintaining the character and vitality of our mountain communities,” added Barrus. “We appreciate the chance to showcase not only a home, but also the positive impact that accessible housing has on our neighbors, businesses and future generations.”
