Summit County will hold its eighth Community Noxious Weeds Tour from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 12, beginning at Richardson Flat Park & Ride.
Attendees will receive hands-on instruction to identify Summit County’s “most wanted” noxious weeds and learn practical, effective techniques to manage them on their own property.
They’ll also have a chance to chat with local experts from Summit County Weeds Division, Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter, Summit CWMA, Basin Recreation and the Summit County USU Extension.
The event is free, though the county asks attendees to RSVP at summitcounty.info/weedstour26.
