Concerts inspired Parkite and entrepreneur Joshua Litwack to establish Quantizr, an AI-powered “financial command center” designed to help musicians and other live performers keep track of their tour budgets, contracts and other business necessities in real time.

“I’m a huge live-music guy, and I see about 60 shows a year,” said Litwack, the company’s founder and chief executive officer. “I’ve seen my favorite band, Phish, 115 times, and I’m the kind of that guy people open their spreadsheets to and ask how to figure out their business. I saw more and more businesses being run out of Excel spreadsheets in the entertainment space, I thought to myself, ‘Someone needs to build the infrastructure to be able to do that.’”

After selling his last endeavor, Litwack moved to Park City to ski and enjoy life. So he had time to mull things over.

“I had no idea how amazing a community Park City would be to build next-generation technology,” he said.

Litwack tapped into AI for Quantizr, and he wanted to explain how Quantizr’s use of AI differs from AI for music creation.

“I moderated a panel about this at the (Pollstar Live!) conference, which is the biggest live-music industry conference in the world, earlier this year,” he said. “One of the big things I explained to people is that there really are two different conversations about AI that’s going on right now.”

One is generative AI, which is “changing the scope of the creative process,” according to Litwack.

The other is operational AI, which is what Litwack uses for Quantizr.

“This does the manual work that nobody wants to do, the work that takes away from the creative side of things,” he said. “So, my view on AI is it’s a really powerful tool that, if used for good, can help people. If not used for good, it can be very scary as well. The key is building a purpose- built AI to solve big problems that exist today.”

Quantizr takes all financial documentation for artists and their touring teams and uses AI to parse out key information, Litwack said.

“We built our own proprietary calculators to track and value where the money is at all times,” he said. “So what we’ve been able to do is help people ultimately make more money and spot issues while they are on tour, rather than waiting until after the tour to reconcile things. One of the biggest problems we have today is artists will go on tour only to find out they lost money six months later. What we’re doing is helping people get a real-time look at their finances at any point before, during and after they are on tour.”

Litwack founded Quantizr almost two-and-a-half years ago.

“We were in stealth for about a year, only working with top industry experts to build up the math and learn how the industry works,” he said.

Litwack and his team first structured the data for the industry.

“So there is now a common space where you can compare shows, compare performances,

compare expenses and understand how one performer did in one venue versus another,” he said. “Then we normalized and standardized that data and launched the app publicly in November 2025. Since then we’ve quadrupled our user base and grown exponentially.”

On Tuesday, Litwack announced Quantizr raised $5 million from TTV Capital, a leading fintech investment firm.

“What they saw in Quantizr is the ability to take a market that really has no transparency and ultimately build a financial infrastructure for it to create that missing aspect,” he said. “They’ve had eight companies that they invested in at our stage go $1 billion, so that’s a huge vote of confidence in this industry and in us and our mission. They have multiple portfolio companies that have done similar things in other spaces, so we have a good playbook here.”

Gardiner Garrard, cofounder and managing partner at TTV Capital, said in a statement that Quantizr helps performers and their teams accurately keep track of finances.

“(It) is bringing operational efficiency and financial clarity to live entertainment — an industry that has long relied on opaque spreadsheets, emails and documents to calculate financial projections,” he said. “Josh’s background in the music industry and financial systems makes him uniquely qualified to build and scale this business. We believe Quantizr has the potential to transform financial operations in live entertainment, making it possible for managers to run more profitable tours and meaningful fan experiences.”

Litwack plans to use the $5 million to continue building financial infrastructure to give back to the live-performance community.

“Right now, we’re running a promotion where we are giving everybody three months of free Quantizr Tour Financials so they can get a real-time view of their finances,” he said. “So, from a financial literacy perspective, they can understand and know their numbers.”

One of the things Litwack learned through his research is that financial literacy is low in the arts community.

“That threatens the future of art,” he said. “So, we’re taking this money to build financial infrastructure that ultimately helps the financial side of touring.”

Artists can sign up for the offer by visiting tour.quantizr.com, Litwack said.

“They’ll fill out a form, and our implementation team will reach out,” he said. “We’re very hands-on with customer success. We want to make sure everybody understands it. We have a robust customer success team who works with artists and their teams so they can really understand their numbers.”

Litwack’s love of music is only rivaled by his love of financial literacy, which he dived into at Bloomberg, one of the world’s biggest financial data companies.

“I grew in their leadership program, and one of the things that I saw was how data analytics ultimately revolutionized the entire financial services industry,” he said.

Litwack learned that even some of the top financial professionals in the world might not necessarily be financially literate themselves.

“One of the biggest things about financial literacy is understanding the data that affects you and making your own decisions,” he said. “A big problem today is that everyone tries to look for conventional wisdom, and the reality is you have your own unique situation that changes over time. If you don’t have the data to allow you to understand that, you will not be successful.”

Litwack said the next project in this endeavor is building banking partnerships that will help people manage their money more effectively.

“My belief is that every business owner needs to know their numbers, but it’s very difficult to know those numbers,” he said. “There is not a purpose-built financial software solely for touring, which is where the artists really make their money. And we found many artists are making money on brand deals, and they lack the software to do that effectively as well. So we’re starting to add that functionality. That way if artists make money in any way, we will be on top of making sure they’re tracking it, valuing it, and making sure they’re getting paid.”

Litwack, who is on the faculty at the University of Utah’s Master of Business Creation program, which teaches business founders how to operate more effectively, said being a Phishhead — a fan of Phish — helped him set the basis for Quantizr.

“As Phishheads, we’re naturally analytical,” he said with a laugh. “We’re always thinking about the first show we saw or the last show we saw, and we think about how long the jam was and what songs were played.”

Litwack also wanted to tap into the togetherness of a live performance.

“(These events) connect people with their friends,” he said. “They build community and inspire people. What I love about music so much is I want to create that experience for everybody else. In a world where people are lonelier than ever or where they struggle with human connections, when you go to a concert, you leave all of that behind. I love giving people the experience of the collective effervescence of live music. And one of the things I found is being able to take my passion of live music and fintech in the same business has been hugely instrumental in my life’s purpose. And living in the mountains in Park City and getting to do this is an amazing phase of that life.”
