Grand Valley Bank Presents Jazz in the Park

Park City Film: Kenji Tsukamoto’s ‘Ashima’
Park City Film will host a special screening of Utah-based filmmaker Kenji Tsukamoto’s award-winning documentary, “Ashima,” at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. The film follows Ashima Shiraishi, a 13-year-old Japanese American who is making waves in the rock-climbing and bouldering community. The screening is part of Park City Film’s Made in Utah and Raising Voices series, initiatives that respectively spotlight films with Utah connections and showcase underrepresented communities through film screenings, discussions and community dialogues. Don’t Tell Comedy Comes to Park City
Don’t Tell Comedy, a live stand-up company that hosts pop-up shows around the country, will perform Friday in Park City. The venue for the performance, which is for ages 21 and older, will be announced by 8 a.m. the day of the show. Art On the Trails
Arts Council of Park City & Summit County will present Art On the Trails from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22. The event will start and end at Copper Moose Farm Stand, 1285 Old Ranch Rd. Volunteers will lead groups of people down McCloud Creek Trail where they will enjoy dance, music and visual art demonstrations by local performers and artists.
