The Hot Laps Lift delivers riders to the bike park, where trails range from beginner-friendly flow lines to technical downhill runs that challenge even seasoned mountain bikers. Starting at $30, the Bike Park Ticket offers access to the beginner Start Park, dirt jumps, and airbag zones.
Inside, The Hub, a massive action sports zone, invites guests to push their limits in a controlled environment—complete with foam pits, trampolines, and spring floors that make learning new skills both safer and more approachable. Guided Historical Hikes Around Deer Valley Resort
Enjoy the beauty of Deer Valley with a guided hike highlighting the area’s rich mining history. Typically spanning less than six miles, each 3- to 4-hour hike covers moderately strenuous terrain. Participants should be in good physical condition and come prepared with sturdy footwear, sun protection, water, and snacks.
Hikes are scheduled for June 21, July 19, August 16, and September 20, with an 8:30 a.m. departure. Destinations and meeting points vary by day but include Little Baldy, Empire Loop, and Ontario Mine.
Each hike is limited to 20 participants, and reservations are required. Minors must be accompanied by an adult and no dogs are allowed.
A minimum donation of $10 per person is required for these hikes, with all proceeds benefiting a local nonprofit organization as part of Deer Valley’s commitment to the community.

Swiss Days
For more than 75 years, Swiss Days has transformed the charming mountain village of Midway into one of Utah’s most attended celebrations of heritage and craftsmanship. Held each Labor Day weekend (this year September 4-5 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.), the event pays tribute to the Swiss immigrants who settled the Heber Valley in the late 1800s, preserving traditions that continue to shape the town’s distinctive character today.
