Junction Commons Park City is launching Junction Jam: Lunch Break Live, a brand-new summer concert series it says will help locals and visitors ease into weekend mode with live music, good food and a fun afternoon vibe.

The outdoor retail outlet will host lunch-hour events that feature local musicians and food trucks. The series kicks off with a special extended Friday performance during Fourth of July week and wraps up with a special Saturday show over Labor Day Weekend, both featuring extended sets through 2 p.m.

Food trucks The Border, Hokulia Shaved Ice and Mountain Berry Bowls will serve food. That’s in addition to the Junction Commons regulars, Jersey Mike’s, Chipotle Mexican Grill and Shake Shack.

“Summer in Park City is all about making the most of every moment, and Junction Jam: Lunch Break Live is the perfect way to slide into the weekend,” said Tom Schneck, senior vice president of marketing “Great music, lunch, sunshine, and a relaxed summer atmosphere — it’s everything people love about this season in one place.”
