‘The Prom’ at the Egyptian Theatre
Ziegfeld Theater Company continues its run of “The Prom,” winner of the Drama Desk Award for Best Musical, April 11 and 12 at the Egyptian Theatre. Park City Film, the local arthouse nonprofit, will host the New York International Children’s Film Festival: Kids’ Flicks Tour at 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. The festival will screen seven short films that look at the world through girls’ points of view. Wetland Climbing Wall at the Swaner EcoCenter
The Wetland Climbing Wall will open from 1:15-3:15 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays at the Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter, 1258 Center Drive at Kimball Junction. Climbers of all ages can move through the Preserve’s ecosystem from bedrock to uplands. Pre-registration is encouraged. ‘Mental Health and the American Family’
Summit Support, a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness, promoting understanding and mobilizing resources to address mental health challenges in Park City and Summit County, will host a free seminar as a prelude to Mental Health Awareness Month, at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, at Peace House, 700 Round Valley Drive, #115. The event, titled “Mental Health and the American Family: Stress, Connection and Resilience,” will explore how modern family life shapes mental health.
