Canyons Village will close for the season this weekend, completing Park City Mountain’s closure.
Resort officials announced on Instagram that the last day will be Sunday.
“After last night’s storm, we were hopeful…but snow totals didn’t quite hit the mark on our open terrain, and next week’s forecast is warming into the 60s. Even our incredible ops teams can’t work any more miracles against Mother Nature,” the resort posted.
Park City Mountain plans to go out “on a high note with sunshine and amazing parties.”
On Saturday, there will be Après at the Airstream, a pop-up après-ski experience, from noon to 3 p.m. with giveaways running until 4 p.m., and a spring concert featuring Candy Shop Band from 3 to 5 p.m.
On Sunday, there will be an easter egg hunt at the Canyons Village Forum lawn from 9 a.m. to noon. Pixie & The Partygrass Boys will be performing from 1 to 3 p.m. and then Après at the Airstream from 3 to 5 p.m.
