Graham Baker, 76, of Park City, Utah, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 23, 2026, from complications related to pancreatic cancer.

Born and raised in North Devon, England, Graham carried his British roots with pride throughout his life. Graham attended the University of Sheffield and studied Chemical Engineering. He later also became a certified accountant. He had a long and distinguished career with Exxon Mobil, working across three continents and multiple assignments over 37 years. Following his retirement, he served on the Board of international company Trimac Transportation for many years.

A talented rugby and cricket athlete, Graham represented his county in his youth and later played rugby for his university and on the English Universities team. After university, he captained club teams in Brussels and Houston. Graham embraced life fully and enthusiastically. He loved golfing, skiing, scuba diving, spending evenings at the theatre, and traveling the world. He rarely missed an opportunity for adventure or a good story. Known for being the life of the party, he was often the last to leave, savoring every conversation and every moment. His humor was quick, his laughter contagious, and his generosity constant.

In addition to his professional and athletic accomplishments, Graham also played an active role in his community, heading the Board of the Park Meadows Country Club and serving as Treasurer for his homeowners association. He believed deeply in contributing his time and energy to the organizations and communities that shaped his life.

Above all, Graham cherished his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Janet Baker; his daughter, Sarah Painter, her husband, Branon Painter, and their children, Hartley and Baker; and by his son, Christopher Baker, his wife, Meredith Baker, and their children, Elise, Samantha, and Pierce. He is also survived by his brother, James Baker, and his family.

To his family and friends, Graham was larger than life. He filled rooms with energy, stories, and laughter. He showed his love through generosity, presence, and unwavering support. He lived boldly, loved deeply, and made every gathering brighter simply by being there. While we will miss his voice, his humor, and his steady guidance, we carry forward the joy and warmth he gave so freely. His life was a gift to all who knew him, and his memory will continue to shape us for years to come.
