The greatest skier of all time Mikaela Shiffrin won her 107th World Cup race in Flachau, Austria, on Tuesday.
Shiffrin finished the Flachau slalom race with a combined time of 1:50.52, 0.41 seconds ahead of U.S. teammate Paula Moltzan, who finished in second place. Austrian Katharina Truppe finished in third place on Tuesday.
Shiffrin’s win is her sixth this season, all coming in slalom races. She’s the top-ranked slalom skier in the world and the fifth-ranked giant slalom skier.
The women’s tech World Cup season continues on Tuesday in Kronplatz, Italy, with a giant slalom race.
“The competition level really is so high,” said Shiffrin. “Nothing is given. It has to be fought for every single race, every single run.”
