My wife and I had very similar reactions to Tom Kelly’s recent column reliving the day of America’s Opening.
He brought back great memories of the Park City that we loved long before the changes driven by the 2002 Olympics and the pandemic.
Thank you, Tom, for telling the story of a great little ski town that welcomed the world’s ski racers for one week each year! (And those memories stand in stark contrast to the Park City envisaged in Don Rogers’ opinions on the same page …)
