Park Silly Sunday Market’s 2025 season ended in September, but that doesn’t mean the party stopped.
The Silly Winter Holiday Bazaar will pick up the festivities and add a dash of yuletide spice to the eco-friendly experience when it runs Friday through Sunday at The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Park City — The Yarrow, 1800 Park Ave.
The bazaar will be open Friday from 5-9 p.m. and from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. And, like the Silly Market, the bazaar will feature wares made by creative and locally based entrepreneurs, said Michelle McDonald, director of operations and vendor logistics.
“Our total of vendors is right at 80, and we’ve got a great selection,” she said. “We have everything from Christmasy gifts to gourmet foods. And we’ll include a lot of new people we haven’t seen in the flesh before. So that’s exciting.”
Kiosks will be located throughout the hotel, McDonald said.
“The minute you walk in the front door, the main ballroom is immediately to the left, and we’ll have vendors there,” she said. “We’ll have vendors in the hallway. Right upstairs they have three board rooms that will all be full. And we’ll have vendors all the way down the hallway.”
Two of the vendors are youths who have participated in summer Silly Market, according to McDonald.
“Sydney Seaside Creations does jewelry and ceramic work, and Allywood makes hand-turned custom pens,” she said.

“You’re watching them absorb the entire experience, and you see them learn how to navigate their passions in a business structure,” she said. “They’re learning how to process payments and handle customers and tell their stories.”
In addition to the vendors, Little St. Nick will be on hand every day, said Executive Director Kate McChesney.
“He’s been with us for years,” she said. “And you can take free photos with him. All you need to do is bring your own camera.”
The Silly Winter Holiday Bazaar has become a winter tradition for more than 15 years.
It started at Park City High School and moved to the Yarrow before moving to Chateaux Deer Valley, McDonald said.
“From there, we went to Park City Marriott, which is now the Sheraton, and then we went back to the DoubleTree Yarrow,” she said.
The Yarrow has housed the bazaar the longest, McChesney said.
“They’ve been amazing, and we’re very fortunate that they are still able to host and they give us a great community rate,” she said.
Not only is there plenty of space at the hotel, there’s free parking, McDonald said.
“They also have a coffee shop and a restaurant that does breakfast and lunch,” she said. “Then they have a bar that is open in the evening, with a menu available.”
Although the bazaar has moved around during its run, the demand has stayed the same, McChesney said.
“After everything that is said and done, the community still wants a winter showing,” she said.
McDonald agrees.
“We have seen visitors and that depends on ski season and Mother Nature,” she said. “But the local community comes out en force every year, and that’s really awesome.”
