Park City leaders on Tuesday evening certified the results of the City Hall election, but the possibility of a recount remained.
The Park City Council, acting as the Board of Canvassers, unanimously approved the election results.
The margin in the mayoral contest, though, is close enough that the second-place finisher, Jack Rubin, could request a recount. City Councilor Ryan Dickey finished in first place. The margin was seven votes, within the range that a recount could be sought.
A request for a recount would need to be made by 5 p.m. on Friday.
Rubin, who was in attendance, declined to comment about whether he will seek a recount.
