On Sunday, Nov. 16, at 9:52 a.m., the police received a report of what was described as a brush fire in the area of Solamere Drive. The Park City Fire District later indicated the case involved a controlled burn rather than a brush fire.
On Saturday, Nov. 15, at 10:30 p.m., the police received a report about a possible waterworks break on Estates Drive. The person who contacted the agency indicated they could “hear the water flowing” and could “see the water bubbling up,” according to public police logs.
At 10:13 p.m., the police were notified about a traffic hazard in the area of Marsac Avenue and Prospect Avenue. There was a bus that was reported to be “missing two wheels,” the police were told. The logs also indicated there was no issue with accessing residences.
Someone reported finding a laptop computer on Comstock Drive at 12:14 p.m. The person apparently went to the Park Avenue police station to turn the computer over to the authorities as found property.
On Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 12:45 p.m., the stoplights at the intersection of Deer Valley Drive and Bonanza Drive were not “changing whichever way,” the police were told. The Police Department described the case as creating a traffic hazard.
On Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 9 p.m., someone on Eagle Court indicated there had “been some sort of loud drilling sound” heard for several hours. Public police logs did not provide details. The police classified the case as suspected disturbing the peace.
The police at 8:28 p.m. received information about what was described as a “broken” water spigot behind a Main Street business. The spigot “has been spraying water for over an hour,” the police were told. The business was reportedly closed at the time.
On Monday, Nov. 10, at 10:04 p.m., a noise complaint was logged on Telemark Drive. The person who contacted the police indicated it sounded like there was “some sort of industrial machine” operating, according to public police logs. The police classified the case as suspected disturbing the peace.
Water was reported to be “running down” the street along Holiday Ranch Loop Road and entering a yard at 9:29 a.m. The person who contacted the police indicated the water was “coming out of the area where they fixed it recently,” according to department logs. The police described the case as a utility issue.
