The Wasatch football team’s season came to an end with a 40-15 first round playoff loss to Timpview on Friday night.
Timpview blew the game open in the game’s second quarter, scoring three touchdowns.
The Wasps points came on a second quarter touchdown rush by running back Ben Brand, third quarter field goal by kicker Teague Fritzsche and late fourth quarter touchdown grab by receiver Cache Coombs.
Timpview quarterback Cole Engemann had three touchdown passes.
The win over Wasatch was Timpview’s second of the season, also taking down the Wasps Sept. 12, again in Provo.
Wasatch ends their season with a 4-7 record. It was head coach Derik Bringhurst’s first at the helm.
