Park City needs a mayor who not only knows the community but has proven experience, strong relationships, and the ability to move important work forward. Ryan Dickey is that person, and I endorse him for mayor.
I am a fifth-generation Summit County resident and have been very active in Park City and Summit County for years. I have served multiple terms on planning commissions, severed on the Park City Chamber Board, as well as several non-profits throughout Park City. Currently I am the chairperson for the Summit County Council.
In these roles I’ve seen first hand how essential it is to work across municipalities, counties, and with different stakeholders. Ryan has been doing exactly that — he has served on the Snyderville Basin Planning Commission, on the Park City Council, as president of Park City Rotary, and as a local business owner. He lives here, raises his family here, and is deeply invested in our success.
Ryan has already shown in his time on City Council a willingness to collaborate regionally on infrastructure and planning matters. I also want to emphasize how critical relationships are in getting meaningful things done. Ryan’s relationships with county leadership — despite some disagreement on outcomes or approach — are rooted in mutual respect.
He has demonstrated over and over that when new information comes forward, he’s willing to revise a position. That is the mark of a leader who puts community priority over ego.
As chair of the County Council and a lifelong county resident, I see what has worked and what doesn’t. I know that having a mayor with business experience, local roots, and a history of leadership in both public and private realms is not just beneficial, it’s essential.
Park City deserves a mayor who understands all of us — our families, our businesses, our natural environment — and knows how to lead with both clarity and care. Ryan Dickey is that person. I’m proud to endorse Ryan for mayor of Park City.
