During my time as mayor of Park City, I had the pleasure of working closely with Diego Zegarra on an initiative to better support our Latino community. It was a complex effort that required bringing together people with very different backgrounds, perspectives, and priorities. Leadership in those moments isn’t easy. Diego made it look effortless.
He earned people’s trust, listened deeply, and helped turn good intentions into real collaboration and meaningful outcomes. That kind of steady, courageous leadership is rare — and it’s exactly what Park City needs right now.
I’m proud to have worked alongside Diego and to call him a friend. He brings experience, integrity and heart to everything he does, and I wholeheartedly support him for City Council.
