Woodward: Woodward Park City is hosting their Mountain Bike Festival on Saturday. From 1:30 to 7:15 p.m., bikers can race, jump and enjoy the action sports complex’s Vendor Village, which will be full of gear and prizes. Woodward memberships, summer passes or day passes are required to access the festivities.
Miners: The Miners girls volleyball team took down Juan Diego Thursday on the road three sets to none. Park City won each set comfortably, 25-18, 25-18 and 25-20, respectively. The Miners are 7-7, and will face Highland Tuesday night at home at 6:30 p.m.
South Summit: The South Summit football team fell 69-21 last Friday to San Juan at home. Junior quarterback Ian Mair and senior wide receiver Blake Osguthorpe had big games in the loss, however, throwing for over 300 yards and two touchdowns and going for over 100 yards and a touchdown, respectively. The Wildcats were 2-3, entering Friday night’s showdown, again at home, against Layton Christian Academy.
