I’ve had the privilege of calling Park City home for the past 24 years, and during that time, I’ve worked tirelessly to support and strengthen our community. That’s why I’m proud to endorse Ryan Dickey for mayor.
Ryan is the kind of pragmatic leader Park City needs right now. He understands that leadership is not rigid — it’s about listening, being curious, building relationships, and making smart, informed decisions, even when that means compromise.
Ryan won’t chase a “perfect” solution at the expense of progress. He knows how to work with others to get the best outcome possible, which is exactly what effective leadership demands. This quality is even more critical as our regional challenges and growth continue to apply pressure to housing affordability, transportation and community connectedness.
His commitment to Park City isn’t theoretical — it’s personal. Ryan is raising his two children here and sends them to our local public schools. That kind of investment matters. It means he’s not only thinking about our community right now but the long-term future. He has a personal stake in the outcome of every decision he makes.
What also sets Ryan apart is his breadth of experience. He’s worked in both the public and private sectors, giving him a unique understanding of how to navigate the complexity while still getting things done. Prior to his years on the City Council, he served as chair of the Snyderville Planning Commission.
As our city manager prepares to move on to a new chapter, Park City is at a pivotal moment. Continuity of thoughtful, proven leadership has never been more important. Ryan Dickey is ready to step up and serve, and I trust him to lead us into Park City’s next chapter with vision and integrity.
