Updated school logos will be on display when Park City students return to classes on Aug. 18 after their summer break.

The Park City School Board approved the logos on Friday. The logos will be used on websites, signage, spirit wear and district communications.

Ecker Hill Middle School updated its colors and transitioned its mascot from the Timberwolves to the Miners earlier this year to foster community and unity with other secondary schools in the district. An updated Trailblazer logo for Trailside Elementary School was approved in June.

The changes include a new logo design for the Park City School District preschool and a refreshed logo for Park City High School. Three elementary schools — Jeremy Ranch, Hawks; Parley’s Park, Falcons; and McPolin, Moose — got a brand refresh.

The updates honor traditions while introducing modern designs, Superintendent Lyndsay Huntsman said.

“Strong, consistent logos unite a school community and we’re excited to launch designs that strengthen our brand and reinforce the shared culture within our schools,” Huntsman said.
