In what struck me as a gratuitous aside, in Don Rogers’ July 6 “Journalism Matters” column, “A different race for a different Park City,” he wrote, “[Ryan] Dickey’s rival for mayor is Jack Rubin, who ran in 2018 for the state Legislature as a Republican. So there’s that.”
Let’s drill down a little further. I checked two commercial databases, both available to the public. Each confirms that in 2022 Ryan Dickey was registered as a Republican.
So there’s that.
