My name is Monaye Whyte, and I’ve been a resident of Park City for almost six years. I am proud to support JK for Park City Council. I’ve worked for JK for four years and I’ve seen all the work he’s done to help not only his employees, but also other residents with how he advocates — namely, from parking to immigration to simple daily engagement.
What impresses me most about JK is his willingness to help anyone who has a concern. JK really cares. For example, when I told him that I have to travel 25 minutes to take my autistic daughter to school, he walked me through the process to request a transfer to a school that’s just 6 minutes away from where we live.
He helped me advocate for my daughter even after the request was denied. JK has a heart for the underserved and often ignored in our community. JK doesn’t look the other way. He looks in your eyes and asks, “How can I help you?”
That’s the kind of leadership I think Park City needs. I really hope you’ll join me and vote for JK for City Council.
