I’m writing today in wholehearted support of my dear friend Molly Miller, who is running for Park City Council. I believe she is exactly the kind of leader our community needs right now — principled, pragmatic, and deeply connected to the people who call this place home.
Molly stands for respect, action, and community — values she lives every single day. She’s a boots-on-the-ground worker, not just in words but in hours spent volunteering in education, advocating for underrepresented voices, and solving problems in real time, day after day. She doesn’t wait for change — she gets to work.
Molly is also an exceptional listener. I’ve spent countless hours walking laps with her at Run-a-Muk dog park talking about everything from policy to daily life, and I’ve always come away feeling heard and inspired. She treats everyone with respect, no matter their background or point of view. She has that rare ability to hold others to high standards while showing real empathy — something she honed during her years as a journalist.
As a small-business owner and Molly’s close friend, I know she will lead with integrity and collaboration. She will bring thoughtful, strategic action to the table as Park City continues to grow and change — always with the community’s best interest at heart.
Frankly, I believe our current city council is missing the unity and mutual respect necessary to tackle the challenges ahead. Molly has what it takes to help shift that culture — to build bridges, listen closely, and take smart action.
