I’ve known Diego for nearly a decade, first as a colleague at Park City Community Foundation and now as a friend and board collaborator. In every space he steps into, Diego brings not just a brilliant mind but a deeply caring heart and a passion for belonging and community well-being.
One of the most powerful examples of his leadership came during our community’s COVID-19 response. As a trusted partner, Diego helped coordinate among city, county and state resources while also ensuring that our nonprofits had the support they needed to serve our most vulnerable neighbors. He was a key architect of the response plan and led with both strategy and compassion.
I am inspired by Diego’s smart, fun loving approach as he tirelessly works to care for this place we all call home. The Park City Council makes decisions that ripple far beyond city boundaries, and Diego understands the broader impact of thoughtful, inclusive leadership.
