Summit County Library Branches Closed for the holidays
Summit County Library Branches — Kimball Junction, Kamas Valley and Coalville — will close Friday, July 4, and Saturday, July 5, for the Fourth of July weekend. The libraries will return to their regular schedule on Monday, July 7. For information, visit thesummitcountylibrary.org.
Friends of the Park City Library’s Used Book Sale
The Friends of the Park City Library will host its annual book sale July 3 and 4 in the library’s Community Room and Room 301. The event, featuring an array of books for children and adults and games and puzzles, raises money to supplement the library’s annual budget. Friends of the Park City Library members get early access from 8-10 a.m. on July 3, before the public will be admitted from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The sale also runs from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday. Prices range from $1 to $3, and a tote-bag happy hour will start at 2 p.m. on Friday when shoppers can fill a provided tote bag for $15. Firefly Frenzy at the Swaner EcoCenter
The Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter, 1258 Center Drive at Kimball Junction, will host Firefly Frenzy from 8-10:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 3. Park City SUP Festival
The public is invited to a celebration of life on water at the 2025 Park City SUP Festival on July 5 at Jordanelle State Park’s Sand Pavilion. Historic Echo Church Is Open for the Season
The historic Echo Church, located at 60 Temple Ln. in Echo, welcomes visitors from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. every Saturday through Aug. 30. It will also be open to the public Monday, Sept. 1. The church is featuring an exhibit, “Immigration: An American Story,” from the New York-based Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. Admission is free.
