Here, the ski slopes of the Wasatch mountains transform into venues where musicians perform against a backdrop of star-illuminated heavens and blooming summer regalia. Music in the mountains is a celebration of the season of abundance. And Park City and the surrounding areas are bursting with melodious opportunities.
Deer Valley Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater
Deer Valley Music Festival
The Deer Valley Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater and St. Mary’s Catholic Church, in collaboration with the Utah Symphony, host the annual Deer Valley Music Festival.
“There’s something astounding about hearing a world-class symphony perform outdoors, surrounded by Utah’s stunning landscapes. We hope every concert leaves our audiences inspired,” Steve Brosvik, Utah Symphony | Utah Opera President and CEO, says.
Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater performances pair world-renowned contemporary artists with the Utah Symphony. A few of the 2025 season highlight performances include BYU graduate Lindsey Stirling, The Beach Boys, hip-hop artist Common, the Music of Paul Simon, a Salute to John Williams, and Disney in Concert: ’80s & ’90s Celebration.
“Audiences looking for a more intimate experience should check out the concerts at St. Mary’s, where they can see the Utah Symphony in a unique, beautiful setting. Each concert this year has a separate theme,” says Utah Symphony | Utah Opera Communications Manager, Julia Lyon.

Deer Valley Concert Series
The Stateroom Presents and Deer Valley’s Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater also host the Deer Valley Concert Series, an annual event since 2018.
There are three shows confirmed for the 2025 lineup, with potential for additional add-ons. Performers include Maren Morris, The Revivalists, and Kaleo. Stateroom co-founder Darin Piccoli says that his favorite attribute of the venue, aside from escaping Salt Lake’s heat, is cutting loose. “I enjoy the unique vibe the GA Floor brings to the shows at Deer Valley. It’s all about the party and dance!”

Park City Song Summit
Park City Song Summit is gaining national traction as a musical gathering redefining the concept of a festival. The fourth annual event prioritizes wellness. “What we set out to do is to create a better space, not only for attendees, but also for the artists themselves,” describes Song Summit Founder Ben Anderson.
The event provides wellness resources, including meditation, sound baths, guided hikes, yoga, recovery meetups, and clean green rooms. The Summit’s signature experience is the Lab — intimate, artist-to-artist, heart-forward conversations where honesty and vulnerability inspire. Wellness activations combine with Lab conversations to create a fresh live music experience.
The lineup for Labs and live performances includes artists Marcus King, Greensky Bluegrass, Eric Krasno, Goose, Cimafunk, The Terrapin Family Band, and LP Giobbi.

Where: The 2025 event includes an exciting venue update. Wellness activities at Library Park, Labs at the Jim Santy Auditorium, afternoon shows at City Park, and nighttime shows at The Marquis.
Concert on the Slopes
Park City Performing Arts presents the 2025 Concert on the Slopes at Canyons Village. The series features 11 performances by internationally renowned artists representing diverse genres, including Plain White T’s, Lukas Nelson, Chris Botti, and Blues Traveler.

TedFest
TedFest is a family-friendly weekend festival based in Wallsburg that includes live performances, camping, a singer-songwriter contest, the Utah State Instrument Contest, and a Sunday Morning Gospel Jam with free pancakes.
“This will be the 10th year. We have added more diversity to the music lineup and have grown in attendance. We’ve also added a kids zone and now have three stages,” the festival director, Ryan Shupe, explains. “Our lineup this year is great — a nice mix of folk, bluegrass, Celtic, blues, rock, swing/jazz, and singer-songwriters.”

Mountain Town Music
The not-for-profit Mountain Town Music (MTM) has over two decades of momentum providing free live musical experiences throughout Park City and the Wasatch Back. “MTM has grown into a cornerstone of Park City’s cultural scene, producing over 275 concerts annually and creating musical outreach programs for students K-12,” Executive Director Brian Richards says. “MTM’s evolution includes a commitment to diversity and inclusion, featuring a wide range of musical genres and artists from various backgrounds.” MTM shows are free and can be experienced at the following venues:
