An intoxicated woman in Coalville was taken into custody for disorderly behavior and allegedly resisting arrest on May 27, according to a shift report from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.
The report states deputies responded to a hotel in the Coalville area after receiving complaints regarding an intoxicated and disorderly woman on the property. She resisted arrest and did not cooperate with law enforcement after deputies arrived on scene.
Deputies were eventually able to take her into custody. They then transported and booked her into the Summit County Jail for intoxication and interfering with an arresting officer.
The Summit County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple other calls between Monday, May 26, and Sunday, June 1, including domestic violence, assault and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Thursday, May 29
Deputies stopped a vehicle in Coalville for an equipment violation. They approached the occupants of the vehicle and allegedly observed drug paraphernalia “in plain view.” There was also an active statewide warrant for the driver, who was subsequently arrested and transported to the Summit County Jail.
Tuesday, May 27
Deputies responded to a residential address in Summit Park regarding a fight between a father and son. The two men were separated when deputies arrived, but they determined the son assaulted the father. They booked the son into the Summit County Jail.
Monday, May 26
Deputies responded to a reported domestic violence incident, but the suspected offender had already left the scene when they arrived. They gathered information and determined there had been a physical fight. Deputies later located the suspect and took them into custody.
