This would be a perfect opportunity for the students responsible for this action to learn what trespassing and vandalism is and the consequences that come with those charges.
Park City is a destination place where visitors and inhabitants come to escape political agendas, not vacation or live in them.
I wonder what would’ve been done if red and white MAGA colors were illegally adorning PC Hill during election time?
What charges would those acts have brought for that political group that also desires political inclusiveness?
If Park City leaders continue their politically-divisive embrace of outrageous bias, Park City will eventually lose a large, supporting taxpayer base. When that happens, Park City will fall as most, much larger U.S. cities already have.
Seattle, Portland, Austin, Los Angeles and San Francisco were driven by far-left ideology and policies such as this and are now in absolute ruin and dysfunction. The exact state of disrepair they’re currently in to be witnessed in real time, not historical context … ie, happening now kind of ruin.
I hope there is an investigation called for to get to the bottom of which school officials were possibly behind the students’ acts of vandalism.
Political agendas, political indoctrination and political persuasion of our youth have no place in our public schools whatsoever.
And if for some reason students just so happened to think and act on this on their own, they need to learn there are consequences to their actions.
By not investigating, it sets a new precedent that trespassing and vandalism of government property is not punishable in Park City.
It opens the doors to more of the same, but next time it might not be in line with the mayor’s political agenda.
Then, I’m guessing, there will be a problem? No?
