In a packed-house ceremony Wednesday afternoon at Park City High, three Miners athletes committed to their colleges.
Nate Contreras and Jaime Taylor committed to Wheaton and Swarthmore colleges for swimming. Colton Schmidt committed to Lane Community College for baseball.
Per usual, Park City has sent a high number of graduating seniors off to college programs this year.
“We love it,” said Miners swimming coach Gadi Shamah on his two committees. “Super proud of them. It’s athletes like Nate and Jaime that make a difference in our program and lead the way.”
