Park City Mountain: Park City Mountain’s fourth annual pond skim will be happening Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. off their Eagle run. The event is free for fans to attend, and they’ll get to watch 150 skimmers try to make it across the pond, donning different costumes. There will also be music, food and drinks for fans.
Woodward Park City: Woodward Park City will be hosting the finals of the 2025 Uninvited Invitational Saturday from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The event is free for fans to attend, and they’ll get to see female riders from around the world vying for a $60,000 purse in street style snowboarding. It’s recommended fans wear winter shoes to walk up to the course, and if they can’t make it in person, the event is also streaming on The Platfrm: heplatfrm.com.
Miners: The Miners boys lacrosse team took down East on Wednesday, 14-3. Park City took a 8-2 lead into the half, piling on five goals in the third quarter. The Miners were 4-5 heading into Friday night’s senior night contest with Bingham.
The Miners girls lacrosse team demolished East Wednesday 23-0. Nineteen different players scored points, with Olivia Dalton leading the team with five. Park City is 10-1, getting a little time off now before facing West April 22.
The Miners baseball team took down Cottonwood Wednesday 12-4. The team opened up a 4-0 lead after two innings, outscoring Cottonwood seven runs to four in the fifth. Royal Matthews led Park City with a home run and three runs batted in. The Miners were 13-3 heading into Friday’s game with Cottonwood.
The Miners softball team fell 22-4 Thursday to Stansbury, who jumped out to a 13-1 lead after two innings. Four Park City players recorded an RBI. The Miners were 3-9 heading into Friday’s matchup with Murray.
The Miners boys soccer team defeated Stansbury in a 5-4 penalty shootout Thursday. Park City trailed 2-0 going into the half, rallying with two goals in the second to force the shootout. The Miners are 5-5, set to take some time off before facing Layton Christian Academy April 22.
The Miners boys volleyball team fell three sets to one Thursday to Jordan. Park City fought hard, winning the third set, but falling in the fourth. The Miners are 7-8, set to take some time off and face Hillcrest April 22 for senior night.
