To borrow from F. Scott Fitzgerald, yes, the rich are different from you and me. Reading about the recent lawsuits behind the secure gates of Glenwild and Wohali, recall previous lawsuits over road construction behind another gate, the feud between one trophy home owner over the proposed size of the trophy home next door, not to mention the bankruptcy of another gated community and subsequent repurchase of the same place (minus the debt) by the same owner who ran up the debt in the first place.
Life is simpler among the unwashed. Think I’ll unscrew the cap off a $6 bottle of cabernet and amuse myself reading about bootlegged wine for the country club cellar and other First World heartaches.
The rich are different from you and me. They have more lawyers.
