Have you signed the referendum? If you are a registered voter in Summit County and care about the future and well-being of our community I encourage you to do so.
Adding over 2,000 new cars to the Kimball Junction intersection will greatly diminish the quality of life of all the residents in the county and visitors who have to drive through that intersection not to mention the millions of dollars that will come from the pockets of the residents to pay for part of the developer’s proposal that will mostly benefit Dakota Pacific.
Enough with corrupt developers who want to bypass the will of the people by working behind doors with the legislators. The same legislators who were elected by the citizens to represent them, not to turn their backs on them.
If you find yourself complaining about traffic, overdevelopment and corruption, this is your time to do something about it. This is our fight and together we will prevail and let our voices be heard.
I am thankful for the many volunteers and residents who are coming together to defend our community. This is what we are all about, community.
We need to continue gathering more signatures all over the county to make this referendum appear in the November ballot. Then. finally. after many years of opposition we will have our voices heard. As John Lennon wrote, “Power to the people!”
