I served as a longtime Snyderville Basin planning commissioner, one who along with my colleagues Ryan Dickey, Joel Fine, Canice Harte and John Kucera voted to forward a negative recommendation to the Summity County Council in September 2020 regarding the initial Dakota Pacific proposal.
I read the editorial Dakota Pacific CEO Marc Stanworth published in The Park Record on Jan. 15 in favor of the company’s most recent proposal, the one County Council paved the way for with its recent 4-1 vote in support of Dakota and that voters may soon challenge through a ballot referendum process.
Mr. Stanworth’s editorial reads like a threat.
