Wetland Climbing Wall at the Swaner EcoCenter
The Wetland Climbing Wall will open from 1:30-3:45 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter, 1258 Center Drive at Kimball Junction. Climbers of all ages can move through the Preserve’s ecosystem from bedrock to uplands. Pre-registration is encouraged. Park City Cirque at the Egyptian Theatre
Park City Cirque, an all-ages variety show that features acrobatics, juggling and comedy, will continue its run Dec. 28-31 at the Egyptian Theatre. The performances will feature The Great DuBois, a husband-and-wife team of Michael DuBois and Viktoria Grimmy, who have made a name for themselves collectively throughout the years with appearances on Hugh Jackman’s hit film, “The Greatest Showman,” as well as “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Late Night with David Letterman,” Britney Spears’ “World Circus Tour” and Steve Antin’s 2010 film, “Burlesque,” which starred Cher and Christina Aguilera. Winter Break Film Series
Park City Film and partner Park City Library will continue the Winter Break Film Series, free screenings of family-friendly films that will start at 4 p.m. on Dec 30, Jan 2 and 3 at the Jim Santy Auditorium. The films are Rob Reiner’s “Princess Bride,” rated PG, Dec. 30; Joe Johnston’s “Jumanji,” rated PG, Jan. 2 and Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” rated PG, Jan. 3. Family Noon Year’s Eve at the Park City Library
Families are invited to celebrate Noon Year’s Eve from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31, at the Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave. The free event will feature crafts, music, dancing and a classic countdown with noisemakers and accessories. Summit County Library Branches — Kimball Junction, 1885 W.
