In nearly 35 years of being a community activist, I have seen local school bonds and recreation bonds fail.
But I have never seen an open space bond fail. That’s because our community has consistently declared the preservation of open space to be its No. 1 priority.
To ensure this vital legacy continues, and to guard against our beloved hometown becoming Anytown USA, I encourage you to vote for the two County Council candidates who have publicly declared open space preservation their No. 1 priority, as well: Roger Armstrong (Democrat) and Ari Ioannides (Republican).
