A combined effort between Park City and Salt Lake City has advanced to another phase of the selection process as the Sundance Film Festival considers whether to move the event to another location. The other finalists are:
- Atlanta
- Boulder, Colorado
- Cincinnati, Ohio
- Louisville, Kentucky
- Santa Fe, New Mexico
