The Park City Appeal Panel decided Monday night it will take a week to review the Planning Commission minutes, audio recording of the discussion and the final conclusion that the sensitive land overlay boundary does not cross the property where Matthew and Tatiana Prince intend to tear down two houses and build a new home at 220 King Road.
Appeal Panel Chair Adam Strachan said Monday night he hadn’t reviewed the Planning Commission’s discussion.
“Maybe I should have done that before tonight’s meeting, I don’t know, I didn’t know that, and if so I apologize to everyone involved,” Strachan said.
The decision came up with the arrival of a letter late Monday afternoon from appellants Eric and Susan Hermann’s attorney, Justin Keys, that questioned the accuracy of the Planning Commission’s decision. Strachan said he wanted to make sure he reviewed the record before signing off.
The panel set a new meeting for next Monday, July 22, but may cancel that session if in their review they find the Planning Commission record and decision are accurate.
Members of the Appeal Panel are taking the extra care in anticipation of the approval for the home to land next in Third District Court if the Hermanns continue their appeal there.
