Megan McKenna has my support, and vote, for Summit County Council Seat C in the Democratic primary on June 25. I sincerely hope you will also support and vote for her in the primary and in the November election.
During my work as director of the Summit County Health Department, I had the opportunity to interact with Megan on many occasions, especially during the pandemic that began in 2020. Megan truly cares about the people of Summit County.
During a time when we were all at or near our physical and mental limits, Megan demonstrated the energy and stamina to stay involved and focused on protecting our community. She did not waver in her advocacy for students, teachers and others that live and work in Summit County. I am certain she will demonstrate that same commitment while serving us on the Summit County Council.
Megan has a vision that is inclusive, supportive, vibrant, and sustainable. She is driven towards this work by the people who make up Summit County. She is bright, transparent, honest, and committed to being a superb Council member. We need people like her to lead us through the challenges we face in a changing home.
It is because of the quality person I know Megan to be, and the impressive skills I know she will bring to the job, that Megan McKenna has my full support and vote for Summit County Council Seat C. I hope you also will support her in the primary and November elections.
