Heads up! You may not be aware. There is a Democratic primary for Summit County Council Seat C coming up on June 25. As a Summit County resident and earth science teacher, I want to encourage everyone to not only vote in the upcoming Democratic primary, but to vote for Megan McKenna.
Megan has the experience that will serve her and us in helping guide our present to the best possible future. Megan was raised here in Summit County, she actively uses many of the outdoor resources we have, she taught for 11 years in the Park City School District, which is one of Summit County’s largest employers, and she now works as a housing advocate for Mountainlands Community Housing Trust.
Megan knows this county, its history, and its people. She also knows the challenges we face as a rapidly growing county, and she is committed to making our county the best for everyone.
We need someone who can think broadly, who truly understands the many aspects of our community, and who knows how to listen and communicate between our many viewpoints to develop with the best solution for our future. Megan McKenna is that person! (https://mckennaforsummitcounty.com/)
