Miners girls lacrosse defeats Farmington Monday
The Miners girls lacrosse squad defeated Farmington on Monday 11-9. That game was held at Dozier Field and was the last home game for Park City until April 26 as they embark on a six-game road swing. Megan Magee, Macy Hoeksema and Coco Crawford came up huge for the Miners, totaling six, four and four points (goals and, or, assists), respectively. Park City will have a two-week break before taking on East April 8 on the road.
Miners boys lacrosse taking on Bountiful Tuesday
The Miners boys lacrosse squad will be taking on Bountiful Tuesday. That game will begin at 7 p.m. at Dozier Field, Park City’s fifth-straight home game. The Miners will travel to Colorado to face both Valor Christian and Cherry Creek following this game. Park City is looking to test themselves with stiff competition early in the season before the playoffs arrive in May.
Miners baseball taking on rival Wasatch Thursday
The Miners baseball squad will be taking on their rival Wasatch Thursday. That game will begin at 3:30 p.m. on the road, Park City’s second-straight road game. The Miners fell to Juan Diego Catholic Friday 9-8 after taking the first two games of that series last week. Park City is 7-5 overall and 2-1 in regional play this season.
Miners boys soccer taking on Jordan Wednesday
The Miners boys soccer squad will be taking on Jordan on Wednesday. That game will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Dozier Field, Park City’s second-straight home game. The Miners fell 7-2 on Monday to Hillcrest and now sit 1-3 overall and 1-1 in regional play on the season. Park City sits second in Region 10, and Jordan, fourth.
Miners softball taking on Timpview Wednesday
The Miners softball squad will be taking on Timpview on Wednesday. That game will begin at 3:30 p.m. on the road in what will be Park City’s sixth-straight road game to open the season. The Miners are facing Jordan at 3:30 p.m. on the road Tuesday. Park City enters that game 0-4 overall and in regional play this season.
