The Home Builders Association of Park City has a food drive planned for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at The Market.
They are asking for donations of peanut butter, canned goods, paper towels, garbage bags, mac-n-cheese meals and any other dry, boxed meals.
Volunteers will take the contributions to help support the Peace House, Christian Center of Park City and the Utah Food Bank.
The food drive is the brainchild of Steven Marusarz, a local interior designer and one of the heads of the community service section of the Home Builders Association of Park City.
“Every month we do something for charity, and this is my idea to do a hopefully annual large food drive during Sundance to help as many people in need as we can,” he said.
The volunteers are mostly members of the Home Builders Association, along with friend who want to help out, he said.
The Market is located at 500 Snow Creek Drive.
