The Miners boy’s basketball squad defeated Tooele Friday night 70-67 at home. They’ll next face Brighton Tuesday night on the road. That contest will tipoff at 5:15 p.m., before Park City returns home on Wednesday to face Green Canyon.
Miners Red hockey team taking on Park City White Wednesday
The Miners Red hockey team will be taking on Park City White on Wednesday at home. The puck will drop for that contest at 6:30 p.m., at the Park City Ice Arena. The two teams previously faced off on Nov. 15, with the Miners Red team winning 2-0.
Miners White hockey team falls to the Salt Lake Stars Monday, facing Park City Red Wednesday
The Miners White hockey team fell 8-2 on Monday night to the Salt Lake Stars. This game was held on the road at the Salt lake City Sports Complex, where Park City had previously defeated the Stars on Oct. 9. Next up for the Miners White team are the Park City Red, who they’ll take on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m.
South Summit boy’s basketball defeats Parowan last Saturday, facing Providence Hall next
The South Summit boy’s basketball squad defeated Parowan on Saturday 69-47, on the road. Logan Woolstenhulme and Cam Smith had big games, scoring 18 and 17 points on the day, respectively. The Wildcats will now enjoy some time off, before facing Providence Hall on Jan. 8.
South Summit girl’s basketball facing Altamont Tuesday night
The South Summit girl’s basketball team will be facing Altamont on Tuesday night at home. That game will tip at 7 p.m., with the Wildcats looking to continue their four-game winning streak. Afterwards, they’ll have a quick turnaround and face Juab on Wednesday.
North Summit girl’s basketball defeats Juan last Saturday, moves to 9-1
The North Summit girl’s basketball squad defeated Juab on Saturday 55-44. Chezlie Langston, Hayzlyn Murdock and Hartlynn Richins had big games for the Braves, scoring 16, 13 and 12 points on the day, respectively. The win moved the Braves to 9-1 overall on the season.
