Congratulations to Ryan Dickey, Ed Parigian, and Bill Ciraco. I hope the new Park City Council and mayor listen to the voters.

I was very much in favor of the athletic bond which failed. Improved recreational facilities would of been a plus for everyone living here.

What I have learned is that the bond failed because the taxpayer base is tired of supporting the outlying communities. The voters have said we the taxpayers want priority with our recreation facilities.

It shouldn’t matter if a pickleball player or tennis player wants to book a court, or a lesson. What should count is whether they are a taxpayer and part of the school district. Us tax payers should get priority in all reservations whether it be for pickleball, tennis or tee times.

This town does not need people from Kamas or Hideout (where they tried to steal our land) or Heber telling us how to spend our tax dollars to benefit them.
