Whiz Kids Junior Book Club

‘The Nutcracker Suite’ by the Ballet West Academy
Ballet West Academy Peggy Bergmann Park City Campus will present “The Nutcracker Suite” at 2 p.m and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Eccles Center for the Performing Arts, 1750 Kearns Blvd. Tickets range from $5-$18, and they can be purchased by visiting boxoffice.balletwest.org/overview/32568. “The Nutcracker Suite,” directed by Campus Principal Allison DeBona, features original choreography, costumes and sets that tell the story of Clara and her beloved Nutcracker prince. ‘¡Hola Cine!’ at the Park City Library
Park City Film and the Park City Library will host New York International Children’s Film Festival’s annual program, “¡Hola Cine!,” a showcase of short films that showcases Latino stories from around the world, at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9. The films, which will screen at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave., are not just screened in Spanish, but also English and Portuguese, with English subtitles. The Park City Treble Makers Salon Concert
The Park City Treble Makers, an all-women, a cappella ensemble, will present its Christmas Salon Concert at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10.
