When it comes to holiday shopping, BRAND PC offers an experience unlike any other.
The Arts Council of Park City & Summit County‘s annual pop-up retail store, which opens Dec. 1 at the Outlets Park City‘s Suite A-120, spotlights locally based creative entrepreneurs and artists who sell their wares, giving them a place to connect with the community and tell their stories, said Executive Director Jocelyn Scudder.
“Each creative will have their own space and a poster that tells a bit about themselves and their products,” she said. “There will be apparel, artisan chocolates, accessories, bags, books, photography, ceramics, painting, sculpture and other items that are ideal for holiday gifts. There is literally something for everyone in this one-stop pop-up shopping experience.”
More than 60 local creative entrepreneurs will participate in this year’s pop-up, according to Scudder. (For a list of some of the participants, visit pcscarts.org/brand-pc).
“Each year when we host this, there are more and more people who are interested in participating,” she said. “These are creative entrepreneurs who are living and working in Summit County.”
The Arts Council will host a BRAND PC grand opening from 6-9 p.m. on Dec. 1, at this year’s location of 6699 N. Landmark Drive, Scudder said.
“People can come and enjoy music, a cash bar, light bites and first dibs on shopping for these unique holiday gifts,” she said.
While all ages are welcome, those who want to purchase a drink at the bar will have to show their IDs, Scudder said.

After the grand opening, the public can shop at BRAND PC from noon to 6 p.m. daily through Dec. 24, according to Scudder.
“This is the second time we’ve worked with Outlets Park City on BRAND PC,” she said. “We first worked with them in 2021, and they are donating the space again this year.”
Scudder likes the location because it is accessible to shoppers coming up from the Salt Lake Valley as well as those who live in Summit County.
“It’s also a good 2,500 square-foot space, and there is plenty of parking,” she said. “We’re excited to be back.”
The Arts Council of Park City first opened BRAND PC in 2016 at a vacant shop in a strip mall located at 1351 Kearns Blvd.
“It was a three-day event with 20 makers,” she said. “So, you can see how much it has grown substantially over the years.”
Since then, BRAND PC has popped up at the Kimball Art Center, the Rockwell Room and various locations on Main Street, Scudder said.
Many of these entrepreneurs don’t have brick-and-mortar stores, so BRAND PC provides a place for them to sell their products, she said.
“Part of the goal of this program is storytelling, and promoting connections between someone who is looking for local products with those who make them,” Scudder said. “We know as an arts council that we have an amazing creative community, and this is a wonderful way for us to put those people on display. As an arts council our mission is to build a community where creatives can thrive and where people can connect through the arts. So, this is our mission in action.”
