As someone who has closely followed our local elections for the past 45 years, I am thankful that we have a solid group of candidates running for the Park City Council this year. I have spoken with all five and think all would serve us well.
The single biggest determining factor in who I will vote for comes down to local “street cred.” Most of the time, a candidate’s appeal comes not what they have done in the past year or two, but rather what they have done over numerous years. Many times that involvement does not necessarily come from going to council meetings, but rather an active participant in various aspects of what makes us, us!
Ryan Dickey has proved himself to be a thoughtful and intelligent council person and deserving of our vote.
Ed Parigian has participated for several years, on numerous subjects. His staunch support of Old Town has, in my opinion, earned him the right to be on council.
And finally, John Greenfield brings a new and fresh perspective. I have watched him at several meetings and have been impressed by his analytical approach to several topics that affect our community.
